Your session should be about you, your family and your love. Your adventure, and your unforgettable experience in Yosemite. Sure, you’ll get stunning images that capture every moment (and you’ve inquired with the right photographer for the dreamiest photos!), but my focus is on creating an experience where you can truly feel the magic and enjoy Yosemite National Park to the fullest.
When you let go of chasing “perfect,” that’s when the magic happens. It’s in the wind playing with your dress, the laughter of the kids echoing through the pine trees, and the quiet moments when it’s just you and the mountains. That’s what I’m here to document: the real, the raw, and the love.

Hi, I’m Priscilla! A California-born, mountain-raised gal with a lifelong love for hiking and exploring every corner of Yosemite National Park. While I’ve been lucky enough to capture weddings, families and engagement session in breathtaking places like Paris, Iceland, Canada and Hawaii, Yosemite holds a special place in my heart. It’s where I’ve made childhood memories, taken daring hikes, and shared adventures with my little one and my family.
Photography is more than just a job to me; it's a passion and a privilege. I'm incredibly grateful to do what I love for a living and to form meaningful connections with all my clients. But enough about me - I want to get to know YOU and capture your unique story in Yosemite!

Why do I emphasize that I live here?
I do this for many reasons. Choosing a local photographer over one who travels solely for bookings can make a world of difference in capturing your special day (and planning!). A local photographer brings a much closer understanding of the area, knowing the best secret spots for portraits, the perfect lighting conditions in all seasons, what to do during an unexpected road closure, the time distance between one location to another, no travel fees and so much more.
Being a local Yosemite photographer means I know this place like the back of my hand. I can anticipate any hiccups and adapt on the fly to make sure your time here is absolutely stress-free and perfect. Plus, I’ve built great relationships with local vendors, resorts, hotels, restaurant owners, etc. so I can give you some wonderful recommendations to make your time in Yosemite even more amazing.

Step-by-step, here’s what to expect

When you’re ready to book, just let me know which package feels like the best fit! If you’re unsure, no worries! We can hop on a quick call to figure out the perfect option together. Once you’ve decided, I’ll send over a contract and the retainer fee invoice.
Once both are squared away, your date is officially locked in on my calendar. And then… we let the fun begin! ✨ I’ll send over a detailed questionnaire after booking to help us get started! As well as a Yosemite Guide filled with things to do, where to eat, my favorite hikes, local tips, etc. to make the most of your time in Yosemite! No need to spend hours googling - When I say I’m here for you, I mean it!

From our initial email to my in-depth questionnaire, I’m your go-to planning consultant and will assist you with:
Customized Location Guide: You’ll get a customized, highly-curated list of the best elopement locations that fit your day.
Local Vendor Recommendations: Once you’ve nailed down the location, I’ll share my local vendor recommendation list who can help you elevate your experience from local hair and makeup, private chef (maybe we take a hike and you can have a lunch with your fiancé at the viewpoint), horse back riding, a private helicopter ride and so many more!
Unique-To-You Activities Ideas: Think kayaking down the Merced River or on Tenaya Lake, beach side Activites with the kids, stargazing or portraits on top of Half Dome (I’m down for anything YOU want!)

Every session includes Dani Franco, a talented fashion stylist, to help you look and feel amazing! Whether we’re hiking, exploring Yosemite Valley, or floating on Tenaya Lake, she’ll make sure your outfits are on point. Most sessions include two outfits - one formal and one casual!
You’ll work with Dani by filling out her in-depth questionnaire, so she can style your looks based on the location, season, vibe, and activities planned for our session. It’s all about making sure you feel confident and stunning while staying true to your unique style!

Your day shouldn’t feel like a stressful, rushed, all-day photoshoot. My approach is the perfect balance of collaborating with you to create the most beautiful photos to tell your story and stepping back to capture all the candid moments. Moments where it feels like it’s just you two and the mountains.

I’ll send over a “sneak peek” gallery within 7 days of your session, then I’ll get into hand editing and retouching all the best images, which you’ll receive within 4 weeks.

tHE LOCATIONS

Yosemite Valley is open all year long!
Although we aren’t able to explore locations in higher locations like Glacier Point Road or Tioga Pass, I have countless hikes we can do to some breathtaking hikes if you’re up for an adventure!

only open Mid-June to Early November.
Taft Point is hands down probably one of the most iconic and breathtaking spots in Yosemite! Known for its dramatic cliffs and epic views of Yosemite Valley, it’s a perfect location for those who want a mix of adventure and jaw-dropping views!
The short 2.2-mile roundtrip hike to Taft Point is relatively easy and flat, it’s worth it especially at sunset and dusk when the light hits the granite walls and paints the valley below in golden, pink hues!
Whether you’re here for a special moment or just soaking in the beauty, Taft Point is unforgettable! Don’t worry, I’ll hike with you so you don’t get lost! I’ll guide you on the best timing and tips to make the most of this magical spot.
During off-season, the only other way there is backpacking 15 miles, which I’m always down for, but it’s definitely a trek you need to be prepared for. I’d help you prepare and hike with you the entire way! We’d stop at Glacier Point, Sentinel Dome and set camp up at Taft Point for the night.

Glacier Point is only open Mid-June to Early November.
During the off-season, the only way to get there is by tackling the Four-Mile Trail, which, fun fact, is actually 10.5 miles uphill. If you’re up for the adventure, I’m totally game—the views along the way are absolutely breathtaking!
Once Glacier Point Road opens, the area becomes super accessible, making it easy to soak in those iconic views. There are also some gorgeous trails starting from Glacier Point that we can explore together! When you book, I’ll send over a list of must-see spots to make the most of your time there!

Wawona is a hidden gem in Yosemite! It’s honestly one of my favorite locations. Accessible year-round, this area is home to stunning meadows, giant sequoias, and the Wawona Swinging Bridge!
Whether we’re exploring the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias or strolling through the peaceful meadows, Wawona offers a more relaxed, intimate feel compared to the busier spots in the valley and Glacier Point!
It’s also a great option if you’re looking for fewer crowds and the mountain views. Upon booking, I’ll send over a list of my favorite spots in Wawona to help you plan the perfect session!

Tioga Pass is an absolute dream for adventurous souls who want to experience Yosemite’s high country.
Open seasonally from late May to October (depending on snow conditions) from alpine lakes to granite domes. Some of my favorite stops along Tioga Pass include Olmsted Point, Tenaya Lake, and Tuolumne Meadows!
This area feels so untouched and magical, especially if you’re up for a little exploring.I’ll share a detailed guide with my favorite locations, including photos, when you book, so we can plan the perfect session together!

Sunrise or Sunset - $3,200 / 5 payments of $640
Here’s what you get:
Full Day Hike up to 16 miles – for couples to tackle iconic trails like Half Dome, Clouds Rest (one of my favs!), Upper Yosemite Falls, North Dome, Glacier Point to Taft Point (an easy 8 miles!) etc. I’ll provide a curated list of seasonal hiking options and help you choose the perfect trail during a one-on-one call!
Hiking Check-List - Receive a detailed checklist and tips to prepare for the adventure! As your photographer, I’ll share my firsthand knowledge and expertise to make your adventure as enjoyable as possible!
Tunnel View - Did you really go to Yosemite without taking photos here? I’ll take you to my favorite secret spot for the highlight of your session!
Flexible session timing – to allow us to explore more locations throughout the Yosemite outfit changes, and not feel rushed. See this package almost like a private yosemite tour with all the locations I’ll be taking you to!

Once you select a package from the options above, here are a few ideas we can make happen:
I can blend in as a “tourist” snapping nature photos until the big moment.
We can plan a surprise session where you casually mention you booked a couples photoshoot - then surprise!
Create a “giveaway” or model call scenario where your partner “wins” a session, and the surprise happens during the shoot.
Plan a romantic picnic setup complete with a “Will You Marry Me?” sign they’ll walk up to.
Hike to Upper Yosemite Falls, Half Dome (I’ll share ways to guarantee a permit), Nevada Falls, Taft Point and I’ll be there to capture it!
