Carlye and Christian’s ceremony at El Capitan Meadow in Yosemite Valley was filled with magic and joy! As a Yosemite photographer, I can honestly say that El Capitan Meadow holds a special place in my heart. No matter how many ceremonies I capture here, the magic never fades! Yosemite is home to so many beautiful locations, but there’s just something extra special about this spot. Maybe it’s the towering granite cliffs that feel like nature’s own cathedral, or the views of El Capitan, one of the most famous climbing walls in the world! Whatever it is, it always leaves me in awe!

This past spring, Carlye and Christin chose El Capitan Meadow in Yosemite National Park for their intimate ceremony, and let me tell you - it was nothing short of breathtaking. The park was alive with vibrant greens, and the waterfalls were in full force, which made the perfect backdrop for their wedding portraits around Yosemite Valley!

After their heartfelt ceremony, we ventured to Swinging Bridge Meadow (one of my all time favorite spots to view Yosemite Falls)! If you haven’t been, it’s another dreamy location, with the best view of, the tallest waterfall in America, Picture saying “I do” with the sound of cascading water in the background - pure magic! From there, we headed to Tunnel View, a must-see spot for iconic photos that captures the best views of Yosemite, like El Capitan, Half Dome, Bridalveil Falls, The Merced River, and so many more landmarks!

Let’s not forget the details! Carlye looked like an absolute beauty in her dreamy, flowy dress by Willow by Watters. Her hair was styled to perfection by Bridal Buns, and her makeup was flawlessly done by Amanda Marie (aka themakeupbyamandamarie on Instagram - my go-to for all things glam!).
