Sunrise offers more privacy, cooler temperatures, and soft, peaceful light as the park wakes up. Sunset brings warm golden tones and a slower, more relaxed pace, but it can be busier depending on the season. As a local photographer, I help couples choose the best timing for their day, whether that’s a quiet first look at dawn, private vows, or an intimate sunset picnic!
Sunrise= soft lighting, quiet and moody, almost like the whole valley is still waking up with you. The rolls in slow, the cliffs stay cool-toned, and you basically get the entire trail to yourselves
Sunset= dramatic warm glow, golden ridge-lines, and that iconic cliffside light that feels painted on. A crisp glow that makes every detail pop and turns the granite walls into pure gold!
